Our Wedding Packages

This delightful Arts & Crafts period, Grade 2* Listed building comprises a main hall with stage and choir loft, and separate Ceremony Room set around its own private courtyard garden.

If there’s one thing our 10 years of experience hosting happy couples at The Old Grammar School has taught us, it’s that no two wedding are the same. We also know that couples searching for their perfect venue need a starting point, from which to build their day.

As such we have created the following packages to give you an idea of what is possible. None of the elements of each package are set in stone, and each can be removed or changed as required.

There are a number of things, of course, that are included in every package that come as standard, which are highlighted below…

Wedding Packages

Included in all packages

Exclusive use of the venue and courtyard for up to 150 guests

Access the day before to set up (if required and there is not a booking)

Easel, cake table, cake knife or sword

Use of the stage or gallery for live music

Red carpet entrance through main gates

Bar serving a full range of drinks including draught beers, cocktails and speciality spirits

Five foot diameter round tables seating up to 10 guests each – dressed in plain white linen

Banqueting Chairs – covered in plain white linen (Chiavari chairs available at extra charge)

A top table for up to 12 guests

Background music using your own playlist or one of ours

High quality disposable napkins

Wireless microphone and projector equipment for speeches

Disabled toilet and baby changing facility

Dedicated Wedding Coordinator

Bronze Package

Standard reception drinks for all guests
Choice of four canapes served as guests arrive
Main Course meal served on platters to each table
Prosecco toast drink for each guest
Dessert served plated to each guest
Evening Buffet of Fish and Chips cones or Sausage and Bacon Buns.

Silver Package

Use of the Ceremony Room for civil wedding or humanist ceremony
Premium Reception drinks for all guests
Choice of five canapes served as guests arrive
Main Course meal served on platters to each table
Prosecco Toast drink served to each guest
Two bottles of house wine per table
Dessert served plated to each guest
Tea and Coffee station for self service
Premium Evening Buffet for up to 100 Guests

Gold Package

Use of the Ceremony Room for civil wedding or humanist ceremony
Premium Reception drinks for all guests
Colour coordinated table runners / chair sashes
White linen napkins
Choice of five canapes served as guests arrive
Hot or Cold starter served to table
Main Course of two meats served to table
Choice of two desserts served to table
Toast drink served to each guest
Half bottle of house wine per guest, plus mineral waters to each table
Tea, Coffee and Mints served to each table

When it’s just the evening ‘Do’ you want, consider this package with guests from 5pm or later.

Party & Other Packages

We’d be delighted to host your birthday party or other celebration at the Old School Rooms, but we are unlikely to be able to offer any dates during the peak Wedding season between April and September.

We have separate packages for Sunday Christenings, or weekday funeral wakes.
